Taxation is a forced contribution, but it shouldn't it be voluntary. A flat tax would put less burden on the middle class and more tax burden on the wealthy, ensuring they would pay their fair share without complicated write-offs and loopholes built in to the tax code to favor them. So yes, I would support this. This would lower my tax burden, based on my 2009 tax year, by ten percent. ~Greg
